Since September 2024, Kind Works Inc. has ignited a movement of kindness across schools and communities throughout Connecticut. During the 2024–2025 school year, we have partnered with 18 schools, reaching over 3,898 students and community members through our evidence-based kindness programs, school assemblies, and community art experiences.

Our creative impact includes the completion of 7 large-scale public murals and 17 Kindness Experiences and Community Kind Nights, each designed to strengthen empathy, belonging, and civic engagement. Through 8 school assemblies, we’ve empowered students to recognize their own ability to make a difference and to spread kindness within their schools and neighborhoods.

This work is fueled by a dedicated team of 243 volunteers, who have contributed more than 3,682 hours of service — representing over $122,000 in community value. Together, these efforts demonstrate the power of kindness to transform individuals, schools, and entire communities.

Kind Works continues to expand its reach through collaborative partnerships with educators, healthcare institutions, and local organizations, ensuring that kindness is not just an act — but a way of life.

“I am continuously impressed by the impact Kind Works has on anyone who encounters the organization. In a world where it is so easy to overlook the importance of the day to day kindnesses we have the opportunity to give and receive, they not only remind you of the benefits but give you the tools to change lives one small act at a time. They bring this idea and mindset to the community through workshops, community art, and murals. They are priceless! Everyone should get involved!”

“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched; they must be felt with the heart.- Helen Keller Kind Works is a unique and very special organization that works on behalf of several surrounding communities and beyond! Their handcrafted bells, ornaments and kindness coins have made special gifts each year for my children’s teachers and coaches. I recently took a trip to a school in Finland and brought kindness coins (perfectly small and packable as they fit in the palm of your hand!) to give out to a class of students and their many teachers. The uniqueness behind each coin, I know, is the kind gesture of a volunteer who put their own special stamp of love into it. We keep Kindness Coins on hand in our car and in my purse so we are ready to recognize the kindness of others. Such acts teach my children the value of this very important character trait. Kind Works not only impacts communities within our state, but all over the world! Thank you Kind Works for helping me bring smiles to the faces of many near and far. Your “kind works” truly work in the most magical way!”

“I have visited this studio for many years. It's a welcoming space to enjoy alone, with friends and family or make new friends with anyone who is there! I enjoy painting and molding the clay pieces. Studio managers are really helpful. Plus I love shopping all the cool kindness merch they have!”
