“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”

Building Kinder Schools, Together

Creating School Communities Where Kindness Thrives

At KindWorks, we believe kindness isn't just something students learn—it's something they experience, practice, and carry with them for a lifetime.

For more than a decade, we've partnered with schools throughout Connecticut, New York, and the tri-state area to help build stronger, more connected school communities through meaningful, hands-on kindness experiences. Our goal is simple: to inspire students to recognize the incredible impact they have on the people around them.

Whether it's through a permanent kindness mural, an engaging school assembly, a workshop, or an after-school program, every KindWorks experience is designed to strengthen school culture while empowering students to become compassionate leaders in their classrooms and communities.

Our Community Kindness Murals

One of our signature programs is our Community Kindness Mural Campaign.

Each mural is handcrafted tile by tile by students, educators, families, and community members, creating a lasting symbol of belonging, inclusion, and kindness. More than beautiful works of art, these murals become daily reminders that every individual matters.

Imagine the impact: A single school mural may be passed by hundreds of thousands—even millions—of students, staff, parents, and visitors throughout its lifetime, reinforcing positive messages every single day.

Today, KindWorks murals can be found in schools, hospitals, municipalities, and community spaces, creating visible reminders that kindness belongs everywhere.

Several of our school partners—including Head O'Meadow Elementary School in Newtown and two Long Island schools (insert names)—have welcomed multiple murals over the years, demonstrating their commitment to building a lasting culture of kindness.

We're also excited to introduce several new mural designs, including our popular Kindness Paw Print Mural, which has quickly become a favorite for schools looking to celebrate school pride, belonging, and community.

Kind Works Testimonials

Community Kindness Murals

"Students at PGS have enjoyed many aspects of Kind Works. We have done field trips to the studio. This field trip is the highlight of students' year. Parent chaperones have shared that they have never been so moved or learned so much from a field trip they attended. We have had Kind Works visit our school for a Community Kind Night. We have also had Kind Works create the most beautiful and meaningful mural in our cafeteria to remind students on a daily basis of the power and importance of kindness. My partnership with Kind Works is one of the most important aspects of my students' social and emotional learning in third grade and beyond. I am so thankful that I can feel confident that my students leave third grade with Kind Hearts, thanks to the work that I do with the Kind Works organization."

— Kate Matos, Grade 3 Teacher, Pine Grove School

"Thank you to Kind Works for helping us create such an amazing Be Kind mural! Kind Works was there every step of the way sharing their knowledge and guiding us through the process of creating and painting the tiles and installing the mural at our school. The students and staff at our school all shared a part in making this beautiful and meaningful mural. The volunteers from Kind Works were wonderful and radiated positivity as they helped us throughout the year. Such a special group of people! I am very happy with the mural and the smiles on the students' and teachers' faces show the impact this mural already has had on our school community. Thank you again!"

— Elizabeth Ciarleglio, Wakelee School

"Thank you so much for helping bring this beautiful mural to our school. Your team is absolutely phenomenal. This turned out way beyond my wildest expectations. The absolute best was hearing students walk by talking about how much they loved it and excited to find their tiles. All of our staff are in awe of the mural, and one staff member even told me it made her proud to work at our school. I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did!"

— Kate Aldrich, PTO President, JFK Elementary School

After-School Kindness Program

"The Kind Works After-School Program has had a meaningful impact on our students. It has helped build confidence, strengthen social skills, and give students a true sense of value and belonging. Most students who participated in the first session eagerly signed up for future sessions—a testament to the program's impact. Kind Works beautifully reinforces our school's core value of kindness. As a school leader, I highly recommend partnering with Kind Works. It is a program that supports our mission of helping students grow into compassionate, confident, and kind human beings."

— Kristen Bradley, Assistant Principal, Shelter Rock Elementary School

"I signed my daughter up for this and she was tentative. She said talking about and reflecting on kindness might sound like school. After the first session, her mind had completely shifted. She loves spending time with others, and working on artistic expression with a purpose has reinvigorated her love for art and for people. She is drawing and sketching at home more and even wrote a heartfelt letter to a classmate who was having a difficult time. Thank you for all you are doing—large and small. It's truly impactful."

— Kind Works Parent

"One day at pick-up, he got in the car and said, 'I made a new friend today.' It just about brought me to tears. That's all I could have asked for. Thank you so much for this opportunity!"

— Kind Works Parent

"Since attending the program, my son says he is happier and feels a true sense of belonging. He feels comfortable being himself and told me, 'It's nice to know there are other kind people in the world.'"

— Kind Works Parent

"My son looks forward to every session. He enjoys working with the mentors and staff. The program has helped him focus on the positive and reduce feelings of negativity."

Kind Works Assemblies

What Educators Are Saying

"We talk about kindness, but this presentation really put a spotlight on the importance of truly practicing kindness. Just like every important life skill, kindness requires practice, self-reflection, and intentionality."

"The Kind Works assembly reinforced that kindness is a daily habit that shapes our school community. Students were reminded that their actions and words have a real impact on others. The stories and examples made the message relatable and meaningful. Students left with simple, practical ways to show kindness every day. Most importantly, the message supported our school-wide goal of creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment."

"The Kind Works assembly was so impactful for our fourth through eighth graders. It aligned perfectly with our school's mission and values."

"The presenter has such a wonderful and engaging presence with kids."

What Students Are Saying

"I loved your assembly and I hope you come again!"

"I think the assembly was amazing."

"I liked how he made jokes but was serious!"

"The stories made me think about how I treat other people."
